Jesus Flores is a writer and editor on the VISN 19 Creative Task Force and a Marine Corps Veteran.

He served in the Marine Corps from 2001 to 2013 and was deployed to Djibouti, Africa, in 2004 and Iraq in 2009.

Jesus earned a bachelor's degree in radio and television broadcasting and journalism from Texas A&M University-Commerce.

He served as a public affairs specialist for VA North Texas Health Care System for three years. This role strengthened his commitment to fellow Veterans by ensuring they receive clear and positive narratives about VA Health Care.

Before joining VA, Jesus honed his journalism skills at WFAA-TV in Dallas, showcasing his versatility and dedication to storytelling.
