April Love, Writer-Editor

A native Michigander, she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from Western Michigan University. Following that achievement, April moved to Illinois and graduated with a Master of Science in Advertising from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

April moved to Colorado in 2016 and joined Denver VA months later. She worked in administrative support and patient advocacy with Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center before stepping into her current role with VISN 19.

An avid writer, April has several articles in print and online. In her free time, she also serves as a judge for an international writing competition and creates informational podcasts on literary fundamentals and other creative topics.
